Happy New Year-- a few days late and a sale

Like a lot of you, it's been a hectic holiday season, but a fun one with all the grandkids, family and pups. All my decorations are down. The tree just needs to be put in the attic until next year. Needless to say, I've managed to add very few words to the next book in my Samantha Davies Mystery series. Porkchop is raring to solve another murder. Ghoulish little fellow, isn't he? How's the weather where you live? In Upstate New York, it has been really cold. This morning it was 0 degrees out. Both my pups, Porkchop and his wannabe dachshund brother, Buddy, are keeping close company with the heaters. I say wanna be dachshund for Buddy because when we adopted him from the local rescue, he was advertised as a "dachshund mix". I think his ears are the only dachshund in him, lol, but he is a very loving dog.
