I don't know if anyone else loves summer and visiting the beach as much as I do. If so, you'll know how much I hate seeing summer end. I'm fortunate to live in an area of upstate New York where there are a number of state parks with public beaches. There's nothing like sitting in a beach chair and gazing out on beautiful Lake George. While I rug hook like Samantha Davies, the main character in my book, I also enjoy doing cross stitch. This week I brought a project along. Now that Fall is here it's back to a more regulated writing schedule. I'm working on book 7 in the series, A Pawsome Summer for Murder. LOL, I guess I'll at least be thinking of summer while I'm writing.

If you aren't already aware of it. Book 6, Mistletoe, Mutts and Murder is now available for preorder. You can order it on the home page of this website.
Christmas is coming and children’s book author, Samantha Davies, and her lovable dachshund, Porkchop, are caught up in the holiday festivities in beautiful upstate New York. That is until an unpopular "Santa" crashes her holiday party. And when Santa is later found dead—run over by a plastic reindeer and strangled with Christmas lights!—it's up to Sam to find out who murdered jolly old St. Nick.
I hope you all have a great Fall and enjoy some yummy cider donuts.
