Do you have a lake monster living near you?

Here in upstate New York, I know of two lake monsters, Georgie and Champ. Georgie resides in the 32-mile-long Lake George, and Champ calls Lake Champlain home. They're supposed to be docile. At least I've never heard of them devouring anyone. Over the years, people from the famous explorer, Samuel D. Champlain to the local residents are said to have seen Champ. Personally, I'll skip a sighting. This past Saturday, in Port Henry, NY a fair was held in honor of its famous resident, Champ. Everything from food to T-shirts to banners were for sale. Beautiful Lake Champlain served as the backdrop to the fair. No, Champ didn't make an appearance, but people were on the lookout for him.
