Yesterday hubby and I took our two grandsons for a cruise on Lake George in upstate New York. It's a beautiful lake and I love to see the grand mansions built along its shores during the early 1900's. People like the founder of the Salvation Army, Singer sewing machines, newspaper barons, and the founder of Con-Edison. I can just imagine the entertaining they did. There are many ways to sail upon the lake. from small speed boats to jet skis or as I've captured below a party tiki boat, a large scenic vessel like the Adirondac that we sailed on or an authentic steam-powered paddle wheeler. I hope you all can visit this part of New York one day and enjoy the lake as much as I do. Even Thomas Jefferson found the lake to be beautiful. He is quoted as saying Lake George is without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw;
